How Time Flies...

Oh dear... how time flies.... 4 mths are almost over and really, I've found myself backsliding from blogging. Somehow or another, there were just so many events that happened for the past 2 mths that I couldn't jot down immediately the bits and pieces of them. Night-time (which happens to be my blogging time in the past) has become so precious to me that I would rather spend the time sleeping or surf the net for some 'breathing space' and 'Me time', until I finally 'awakened' and decided to blog again because of F1.

It was really an eye-opener and adrenaline experience at the grand prix. For the 1st time, the tremendous speed of the cars were so real to me as they zoomed past me, just 1m gap, right before my eyes. The sound of the engine was so deafening, that the ear plugs that were given were only able to muffle the 'engine roar'... The event was like a big carnival - something liken to Asia Conference, but much more relaxing... where u can stroll to the different stages for performances. If you're tired, take a rest at the open air temporary bistros to have some food and drinks, visit the stalls to buy some F1 merchandise and if bold enough, make friends with other F1 fans (many of them are foreigners - tourists from different countries). If you'll like to have a better view of the whole race track, take a 'Spore Flyer' ride (unlimited rides that come together with the package if you buy Premium Walkabout tic).

It was really a wonderful night spent with hubby, in celebration of our 3rd wedding anni. However, what makes me blog again is because of the fact that our digital camera was pick-pocketed and we didn't realise it until the end of the event. To be more accurate, it was my dad's camera, which made the whole thing even worse for us. And all our F1 photos, the video of the flagging off of the race were all recorded in it. I was so totally affected by the loss as in it also contained the photos my dad took at the hospital when my sis gave birth, our mooncake festival celebration, snap-shots of Georgie, Jewel and Javier (all are my dad's precious grandchildren). The thought of not being able to retrieve those memories made me angry about the whole incident.

Therefore, I realised that it is so impt. to record down the wonderful memories and happenings you have had, in somewhere safe.... Blogging may not be the safest channel to keep all those memories. Nonetheless, you'll still be able to read about it probably a few years down the road... provided that there won't be any technical faults with blogspot. At least for now, I'm still able to retrieve and read about my past entries, back-dating from the time Georgie was born, bringing back lots of sweet memories..

Thank God that my dad was a forgiving person.... Nonetheless, I have got a new camera for him already, just in time to capture Bb Josh's 1st mth celebration.
