Georgie Learning to Walk

I love blogging abt. Georgie's development these few days. It's 1 thing that makes me happy every single day.

He's learning to walk now. The time is just right, not too early and not too late. Should be able to walk w/o any aid by 14 mths, haha - at least faster than his daddy, who only started walking at 15 months... Hmm, Georgie resembles me in this area then. My mum said I started walking also at the age of 14 months, if not slightly earlier. But the older folks have this belief that kids shouldn't walk too early - coz it means they will have a more difficult life. Haha, whatever!

Noticed that he has changed gradually. He is a bigger boy now - lesser baby fats. Not as plump and round like when he was a baby. I actually missed the time when he was abt 6 mths. People said he looked a bit ang moh then... guess it's b'coz of his high forehead and fair complexion. Now he looks totally asian.. haha. But it's more fun to play with him now. He understands what is allowed to do and what's not. Of course, he's still a baby. Not saying that he totally can distinguish right from wrong. But, he knows that when he plays with the TV cable, his gonggong will be angry. When he ransacks the DVDs and CDs, his popo will come pointing her finger at him. When he sweaps my cosmetics and perfume into the wastepaper basket, I'll come exclaiming:" Geor.......gie! No no!!!"

Toys aren't really his best friends now. He's always meddling with remote controls, cotton buds, DVDs, CDs, cables, bottles, papers, even ANTS! Yikes! There was 1 time when he was chasing after a baby cockroach, thank God I managed to press it dead with a tissue paper before the cheeky boy gets his fingers on the dirty insect...

(To be continued...)
