2 Years of Married Life....
Wow! It has just been 2 years since I've got hitched... and it seems like yesterday..
We celebrated our 2nd wedding anni. on the 30th Sept. Brought back lots of memories.. Still remember during then, our entourage were still single, though not very available :) Now most of them were all married.
Didn't have any specially thought-out plans on that day, just wanna spend the day with Georgie. Guess that's how you feel when you have kids - you just can't bear to leave the house w/o them. We brought Georgie to the zoo! Have been putting that off for quite some time, felt that we need to expose him to the animals so that he wouldn't just learn about zebras, elephants, lions etc off the TV screen..
Hmm... he didn't really feel an affinity with the animals when we were there, except for some special animals like the dogs, some 'passer-by' birds that weren't inhabitants of the zoo at all and the tiger! Haha, he was even squawked at by a parrot when we first arrived at the entrance and you would have guessed correctly, he started bursting in tears... I have slowly come to terms with Georgie being extra-sensitive with regards to his emotions. But yet, I'm determined to develop him to be a man of stability and guts as he grows up...
After the zoo trip, we went back home and left him to my mum for his evening nap as the 2 of us went for a date out to sentosa - we decided to have something different. Tried Italian food at this restaurant called Illido - where they claimed they were the only authentic Italian cuisine in S'pore.
The ambience was great.... but I still prefered my Sushi Tei or Chinese Fusion fine dining...

The size of a kangoo's foot - twice the size of my foot!
Do you know how a kangaroo's name comes about? An australian spotted the animal in the early early days
and asked the aboriginal pple what's its name... they replied: 'Kangaroo' - which means 'I don't understand!'

Pulling Daddy's hair - cheeky enough of him to smile after his act..

Looking at what other plush animals he can bring home - Urgh eh.. Georgie, you
